How Much is Too Much? Branding your Clothing

California GrapesHow Much is Too Much information? – Mistakes people make when branding their clothing.

We all want to have our company name and logo on our clothing now. Everywhere you go you will see company logos on polo shirts, business shirts and Hi-Vis clothing.

What should you include on your shirt – is it enough to just put your logo?

Keep it Simple! Less is More!

Your logo is your key identifier. The name of your company, if not an integral part of your logo is important to include.
Potential clients can search the internet for your business from your company name alone. If you have a web site, these clients will be able to see the services you provide. If you don’t have a website, online telephone directories will list your name, address, phone number and email.

The time to include a mobile phone number is when you don’t have a land line business number and a web search would not list your business and phone number. It really depends.

Many businesses feel the need to include their website, multiple phone numbers and a list of the services they provide on a work shirt. More often than not it’s just too much information.

It’s all about getting your brand out there and enabling people to find your business. The clearer and simpler the information, the greater chance potential customers will remember you, your brand and your business.
